In earlier days were built several wells in the Tafraout valley by nomads in traditional ways. Due to the impact of wind and aridity for many years they were collapsed and were full of sand and dust. But they are very important for drinking water for nomads and their animals as well as Sahara animals. Therefore the Akabar association determined to rebuilt the old well in H’Ninna. With the financial support of a Swiss agency which has already been involved in Tafraout activities the construction began on 18/06/2018 and three nomad guys succeeded in nine days to finish this work and there were water in the well.
The nomads community were very happy and they wish to repair and dig other wells which will help them to keep the nomadism life they like.
